American Dream Index provides a financial affordability score and relocation analysis tool based on publicly available data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, FHFA, HUD, and other government sources. The ADI score is an informational tool and does not constitute financial advice.

3. Not Financial Advice

The information provided by ADI, including your ADI score, relocation analysis, and any other data or insights, is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute:

  • Financial, investment, or tax advice
  • A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset
  • A guarantee of future financial outcomes
  • A substitute for advice from a qualified financial professional

Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making significant financial decisions.

4. Data Accuracy

ADI makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of its data and scores. However, we do not warrant that data is complete, accurate, or current. Data is derived from government sources (BLS, FHFA, HUD, Census Bureau) and is subject to their accuracy and update schedules. ADI is not responsible for errors or omissions in underlying data sources.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including the ADI score methodology, visualizations, text, and design, is the property of American Dream Index and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6. Data Attribution

Journalists and researchers who use ADI data in published work must attribute the data to "American Dream Index (americandreamindex.com), based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, FHFA, and HUD." Commercial use of ADI data requires a separate licensing agreement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information provided therein.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
